What is Sintered Stone?
Sintered stone is an exciting new product on the scene and has immediately been getting traction with designers across a range of projects. With a diverse range of uses, sintered stone can function as a centrepiece benchtop, to functional floor tiling.
Sintered stone is made from porcelain slabs using only 100% natural materials. Manufacturers use materials like clay, feldspar and mineral oxide to create lightweight and waterproof slabs that are incredibly durable.
Due to the way sintered stone is produced its durability outweighs many other stone products. Its incredible resistance to scratches and heat lend to it being very popular with our customers. With great ease of maintenance its non-porous surface makes it resistant to stains and regular cleaning with mild soap is usually sufficient.
